Order via NHS framework agreements
Lexacom is on a number of NHS framework agreements, which are designed to ensure competitive pricing and improve efficiencies. This allows NHS organisations to directly call-off all Lexacom products and services, for greater flexibility.
How can Lexacom help with procurement?
Procurement can be complex and lengthy. To assist with this process, Lexacom is available as a supplier on both the NHS Shared Business Services framework, and the NHS Commercial Solutions framework. This means you can place direct award orders via both the SBS, and Commercial Solutions NHS England approved frameworks.
What are framework agreements?
Framework agreements are agreements between contracting authorities (like NHS SBS and Commercial Solutions) and suppliers (like Lexacom). These agreements set the terms for contracts to be awarded during set periods of time, usually four years.
Why order via a framework agreement?
Framework agreements are easy for all UK public sector organisations to use, making the procurement process quicker and simpler.
- save time and resources
- compliant, fast routes to market
- typical cost savings of around 15%
- procure based on the total cost of ownership
NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) was created in 2004 by the Department of Health and Social Care to deliver corporate services to the NHS. It makes life easier for NHS employees and patients, and delivers value for money to the taxpayer.
NHS SBS provides procurement services to more than half of the NHS in England, with solutions underpinned by cutting-edge technologies, and an in-depth understanding of the NHS.
NHS Commercial Solutions are a not for profit procurement shared services hub, formed in 2007 to unlock collaborative solutions across the NHS. It provides end to end services across the full procurement cycle, working with stakeholders to identify key value opportunities in a range of categories.
NHS Commercial Solutions leverages purchasing power by designing and delivering combined beneficial contracts for groups of customers.
