What is a Lexacom Administrator

There are 2 Administrator functions within Lexacom – Lexacom 3 Administrator (accessed via Lexacom 3 icon on PC desktop) and Group Administrator (access at https://www.lexacomcloud.com/).

You can use Lexacom 3 Administrator to manage Talk and Type users, monitor workflow and configure or customise your Lexacom software.  The Lexacom 3 Administrator account can be accessed from any Lexacom desktop icon. If you have forgotten the administrator password, we can reset the password for you. If this is the case, please contact the Lexacom Helpdesk Team.

When Lexacom is installed, a Group Administrator account is created in Lexacom Cloud and details are entered into the Product Registration of Lexacom Admin. The Group Administrator does double duty as your licensing details for Lexacom 3 and your login to lexacomcloud.com to manage Lexacom Mobile and Lexacom Scribe. If you have forgotten your username, password, or require the administrator details to be amended, please let us know.

The password for this account can also be reset using the link:  https://www.lexacomcloud.com/account/?forgottenPlease note if you reset the Group Administrator Password, you must update the Product Registration field within the General Administrator function.

  • Log into Lexacom 3 icon on your Desktop as the user administrator
  • Go to > Product Registration
  • Click on the ‘Connect to a Group’ tab
  • Enter the updated Group Password (the one you have just created in Lexacomcloud.com)
  • Click ‘Validate’
