What is Job Management View?

Users that make jobs (authors) can load jobs that have not been completed from their Tracking tab. These jobs may be at workflow steps that you do not ordinarily have access to (e.g. transcribe steps).

When you load a job from Tracking this opens the job in Job Management View.

You will see a banner like this:

If the job has been worked on by another user, you will see a banner like this:

In Job Management View, you can change the workflow and workflow step on the job e.g. recalling a job back to you, or moving this ahead in the workflow. You may only move the job to a workflow step if the job has all the media required for that step.

e.g. you would not be able to move a job on to a ‘transcribe’ step without the job having audio to transcribe, or to a ‘review’ step without a document to review.

Additionally, you will be able to edit the media (like audio dictation, reference, and attachments) – but only if the job has not already been worked on by other users. This prevents changes to a job that might invalidate the work done by other users (e.g. making changes to a dictation when this has already been transcribed).
